Octoberfest is a major fundraiser for the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Marblehead Public Schools through the Magic Hat Thrift Shop.

About Magic Hat Thrift Shop
The Magic Hat Thrift Shop helps our community recycle and reuse while raising money for Marblehead Public Schools. The shop is run and staffed by volunteers, and supported by donations, including the premises and equipment, and all profits go directly to the PTOs. In stock are quality clothing and shoes for men, women and kids, as well as housewares, books and movies, sports equipment and various other items. All are brand name items inspected for quality and function.
Magic Hat’s goal is to establish a continuous resource to raise funds that enhance the education of children in the Marblehead Public Schools. These funds support projects, programs, and events of the Parent/Teacher Organizations (PTOs), and in the process, Magic Hat creates a vibrant, community-wide venture that provides high quality goods for reasonable prices to residents and those in the surrounding communities.
Since Magic Hat’s inception in 2005, they’ve donated $125,000 to the Marblehead Public Schools.
